Swedish in a Multilingual Setting, SMS

Certified Knowledge centre 2022--2024The CLARIN Knowledge Centre for Swedish in a Multilingual Setting (CLARIN-SMS) offers expertise in linguistic processing of text, especially for Swedish and/or when multiple languages are involved. In addition, CLARIN-SMS offers expertise in the application of language technology to Swedish Sign Language.

Swedish National Archive

The Swedish National Archives are responsible for regulating and maintaining information created in the Swedish public sector. Aside from preserving and granting access to documents from the last one thousand years, the agency also writes regulation regarding archival care and appraisal, and conducts inspections to see that the policies are upheld within the public sector. Hence the Swedish National Archives is an agency working with both cultural heritage and governmental administration.

National Library of Sweden

The National Library of Sweden (Kungliga biblioteket) is both a library and a government agency. We collect, preserve and make available almost everything that is published in Sweden – from manuscripts, books and newspapers to music, TV programs and pictures.

The National Library is a Government Authority under the ambit of the Ministry of Education.

Humlab

– Umeå university

Humlab at Umeå University is a unit at the Faculty of Humanities, whose mission is "to initiate, inspire and develop the relationship between the humanities, culture and information technology". Certified Knowledge centre 2022--2024The Clarin K-centre for Diachronic Language Resources (DiaRes) is focused around diachronic text collections, and as a special case of these, historical texts, as well as tools and resources for processing and analysing these.

Speech Analysis, CLARIN SPEECH

Språkbanken Speech comprises a K-centre with a focus on speech analysis. The CLARIN Knowledge Centre for Speech Analysis, CLARIN SPEECH, provides expertise in the collection, processing, annotation and exploitation of large multimodal speech corpora.

Lund University Humanities Lab

As a K-centre, Lund University Humanities Lab provides advice on multimodal and sensor-based methods, including EEG, eye-tracking, articulography, virtual reality, motion capture and audio and video recording. We are also a collaborator in various projects.
